ARE YOU AFRAID OF PAIN?
When something new is created we must go through pain. Without pain nothing can be made as a new creation. Pain is inevitable.
For example, if one wants to transform their body, they must follow a particular diet and exercise. They would have to face difficulties because they go through pain, but once they are transformed they forget the pain they went through and focus only on what they have gained.
Similarly, during child birth the mother goes through a labour of pain, even the child in her womb struggles to come out of the mother’s womb, but once the new life comes to the world the mother forgets what she went through and is filled with joy when she sees her baby.
We might have heard it many times in our life that “without pain there is no gain.”
We all hate pain; the pain may be physical or mental but we all hate pain. No one likes to suffer but when they withstand that suffering, they see themselves being transformed and now they are a new creation.
The pain we go through in our lives may seem like a mountain but pain only serves us to get stronger. For Christians, pain helps us to find GOD and we walk in the path of righteousness.
In human life, we have to go through pain and joy. They both are like two sides of a coin.
When we place our trust and faith in JESUS, when we make HIM our strength and comfort then GOD will be there with you when you are in pain. He will comfort you with HIS staff and protect you with HIS rod. There is no place in this world where you would not find HIM.
Psalm 139:8-10 says:
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
If I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
If I settle on the far side of the sea,
Even there your hand will guide me,
Your right hand will hold me fast.
Our GOD is a faithful GOD. Hold HIM close and call HIS name. HE never would leave you nor forsake you. HE is a real GOD.
Once we withstand all our sufferings and get through our pain we will be a new creation. You will not remember your old self. Your cry has now changed into a happy dance.
Give your life to JESUS and test HIM and know that HE is a GOD who listens and answers.
If you have ever observed a palm tree during a storm. It bends down to the ground so much that it looks as if it is going to lose its ground, but when the storm passes away it looks as if it never went through any storm at all. It is because it is so deep rooted in the ground that nothing can separate it from its land. Likewise, when you are deep rooted in CHRIST nothing on the earth or above it has the capability to separate you from GOD.
If you are the one who is going through pain or any kind of suffering and you are on the verge of giving up then hold fast to GOD, give JESUS a chance in your life.
Isaiah 61:6-7 says:
But you shall be called the priests of the Lord;
they shall speak of you as the ministers of our God;
you shall eat the wealth of the nations,
and in their glory you shall boast.
Instead of your shame there shall be a double portion;
instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their lot;
therefore in their land they shall possess a double portion;
they shall have everlasting joy.
DO NOT BE AFRAID OF PAIN, INSTEAD USE IT AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO GET CLOSE TO GOD.
BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS.
